Yay - please do! I started looking at that myself a while back - got as far as stripping out the FAT driver from the kernel sources, and building directory structures from the SAM directory. Unfortunately I forgot it was still under the kernel source tree when I came to wipe my Linux installation for a new one... :-( DOS, Win9x and NT/W2K/XP need completely different implementations for each, which would be a lot of work. I'd be most tempted by the last one as things are moving more that way, but the IFS SDK costs $1000+VAT. Si
