After moving house last month I found a nice present in the back of the new
loft, a Phillips colour monitor [1] which coupled with having more
three-times as many rooms as before meant my Sam is back up and running for
the first time in over a year.

Woo-Hoo!

There is one fly in the ointment though, with everything attached to my Sam
(HD, Mouse, Meg, EDDAC, Comms) the PSU runs out of puff and can't spin the
Hard Disc properly.

So the question is, if I pop out and get a PC PSU and use it as a direct
replacement for the Sam PSU will it work without any additional
modification?

Other questions:

Steve Taylor's Mouse Driver 2.0 - this has a LOAD "D1:something" coded into
the loading code - can the "D1:" bit be replaced or POKEd out?
Lemmings for Atom - I think Edwin/Martijn had a tweak for this.
And, of course any other Atom conversions or tweaks.

I was playing Sam Manic Miner last night wearing only my pants - a truly
liberating experience :-)

Dan.

[1] There was also an Atari ST too but I'm less bothered about :-)
