Lets turn this into a real world situation.

Lets say i need my house painted and your a painter, would you come and do
that work for free?  Im not going to pay you to do it, but you can do it, so
hence according to you you should come do it for free.

Its the same since Colin can program a game that you are not going to buy
you want him to give it to you for free anyway.

i know that colin, but are you selling very much of the older stuff?, i can
appreciate that you own the copyright for your hard work, but if you're not
selling anything then why stop people using it for free, as no one was going
to buy it anyway :-),
i get annoyed with this "its mine so no one else can have it" attitude the
world is turning into a bitter selfish place to live
