No, I'm not on the SC subber list. Indeed, this is the first I've heard of such a list. When this letter becomes available, could you please post it here so that I know as much as everybody else about is going on?

I don't know anything about the original copyright arguments, I'm only going on what I see. I stopped using my SAM years ago when it was relegated to the attic, and have only recently returned to the scene due to Simon Owen's excellent Sim Coupe emulator.

I'm now getting the impression that the points I've made recently have been made before. If I knew the history then I wouldn't have started "endless copyright arguments" as you describe. I just hope things will be sorted out soon, and that this great scene doesn't die a death.

Oh, by the way, Colin - whilst watching the closing credits of So! Graham Norton last night I noticed there was a certain Colin Piggot (with one T) in the credits. He was credited for design! Is there something you're not telling us?

As I am still in touch with Gavin Smith who does Sam Community, i've just been
sent a message from him to be posted on here on his behalf:

I haven't gone AWOL, I've been sorting things out last few weeks, and discussing a few things with Colin regarding Sam Community (as he seems most interested in actually using a SAM these days). Are you on the SC subber list "Fred Bloggs"?
There's a letter going out over the next few days explaining the situation.

I'm sorry the Persona titles have been in limbo David (and any others
interested), it is being sorted. I don't have a computer at the moment but will in the next few days. If you want to discuss any of this feel free to email me
directly.

(I tried to post something to this effect a few days ago but it was strangely
bounced...)

Gavin (sorry for poor formatting/quoting, I'm on mail2web.com at the mo)

P.S. Let's not have endless copyright arguements *again*...
