Don't do that! The SAMDOS boot loader can only load from the first side of the disk. It literally has no code to handle swapping ports to access the second side. And the boot sector must be on sector 1, track 4 (but you knew that anyway). Always copy the SAMDOS file onto a blank disk if you're going to do anything with it. Or put QDos on there, which will work no matter where you put it, as long as the first sector is in the boot area. Of course, I have no idea how you can tell the system to put that first sector in the right place, but there you go. Here's a question: What's the highest track number that SimCoupe supports? I've formatted disks from track 0 up to track 83 before now. Simon
