I've only ever used just-the-name - they were also flawless for me until last weekend! I hear they're updated the masking software to sort the problem out, so hopefully it should be sorted very soon. The SimCoupé web stats show some activity from every day in the last week, so it can't have been down too much. I went with JTN because their transparent URL masking seemed the most flexible. You can use proper deep links into the target site and there's no use of frames to semi-hide the target location, etc. (from what I can tell, mydomain.com uses frames).
