I'd guess it'd present itself as a plain block device to NT/Linux, which wouldn't be difficult to support as an Atom HDD in SimCoupé. CF cards would certainly make transferring stuff between SAM <=> PC much easier than floppies, which would be most welcome. Real hard disks can be supported in exactly the same way - both also requiring Administrator/root access to open the raw devices. For safety it'd be best to only allow access to disks BDOS signatures, meaning you'd have to format them up on the SAM. I'll pick up a CF reader+card and experiment - if that works I'll have to acquire the Atom and Quazar CF reader for the SAM side. :-) Si
