Hi folks,

In switching from ATI to an nVidia card I've noticed that the SimCoupe
colours are a bit oversaturated, particularly on the stripey boot screen.
This seems to be a side-effect of using the video overlay surface, which is
the default under Windows (except Vista) to ensure good performance with
older video cards.

If you're also using an nVidia card, you might want to try disabling the
overlay surface using: Tools -> Options, Display (tab), and unchecking "Use
RGB/YUV video overlay". Use of the video overlay may also limit the
framerate to your monitor refresh, even when running without the frame sync
in the emulator (toggled with F7 by default).

I may reverse the default for this option in the next version, as it can
always be enabled on ancient systems that can't handle hardware stretching
at a reasonable speed...

Si
