Hi Peter,
For Red Hat dist. They reside in /usr/sbin

Not sure if Caldera has this?

Subject: Caldera/SCO binaries and nmbd and smbd

I have downloaded and installed samba v 2.2.2 from the caldera/Sco
binary
folder.

However when I got to the Starting smbd and nmbd bit in the samba
project
documentation I could not locate either:

/usr/local/samba/bin/smbd or
/usr/local/samba/bin/nmbd

Are these not part of the SCO distribution or are they hidden somehere
else?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Peter
