hello,

Hi everyone,

I've just installed the Samba 2.2.4 RPMS for RedHat 7.2 and although
smbd and nmbd seem to work perfectly, I'm getting some trouble with
SWAT. When I try to connect via the 901 port, SWAT returns with the
following error:

400 Server Error
chdir failed - the server is not configured correctly

I've performed a search in Google, and all references I've found are
inetd/xined issues, but I think that these are not applicable to my
system as long as it have the same xinetd configuration as with Samba
2.2.3a and with this version installed SWAT worked right.

Any ideas?. Thanks in advance,

the original directory in the rpm package where swat is installed is :
/usr/share/swat

I have the same problem so I found
the path to install the swat is :

# pwd
/var/tmp/samba/usr/share/swat
# ls
help images include using_samba
#

and all is ok
