I have the following installed on my RH7.2 box (results of rpm -qa |
grep -i 'samba'):
samba-2.2.1a-4
samba-common-2.2.1a-4
samba-client-2.2.1a-4
samba-swat-2.2.1a-4

I am trying to upgrade to 2.2.3, and have downloaded:
samba-2.2.3a-6.i386.rpm
samba-client-2.2.3a-6.i386.rpm
samba-common-2.2.3a-6.i386.rpm
samba-swat-2.2.3a-6.i386.rpm

to my /var/spool/up2date directory, from the Red Hat RTP site.

When I use rpm -Fv --test [package name] with the 2.2.3 packages, I run
into a problem I don't know how to solve. Most of the dependencies
point back to the need for Samba 2.2.1a.

Is this the same thing as samba-2.2.1a-4? Or is this a newbie problem?
I see that on the Samba site, 2.2.5 is listed as the stable version, but
where do I get the swat, common, client packages for 2.2.5?
