If this is the wrong list, I apologize. please direct me to the correct area.
Im trying to build a binary distribution package for Samba 3.0.2a on Solaris 9 / SPARC. Good news is, I have a functional Samba which is a full ADS member ansd working fine with Kerberos etc. However, I dont have the winbind capability necessary to service domain members directly. Ive noticed that the install target in Makefile does not include the winbind libraries, even though they are built correctly into the nsswitch directory. Looking at the Makefile, I can see the target to build the library but not install it. Also, the documentation talks about manually copying the library to its final location. Am I missing something? If manual copy is the only current option, what should I copy, in addition to the .so shared library files under nsswitch, to have a complete package?
