Hi Hisashi, I'm sorry to say, but you're not going to find any help on this list. This list _was originally_ intended for packagers of samba to discuss packaging samba. It has since fallen into disuse, and indeed as been condemned. You will find that the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list is much, much more responsive. Try your question there. I don't know much about solaris, but I _believe_ that it should work. But, I should also tell you. Samba 2.2.8 is very old, and has a number of minor to severe security holes in it. We suggest all installations upgrade to a 3.0.5 immediately, or if you are absolutely forced to stay with the 2.2 series, then 2.2.10. Furthermore, just to let you know, the 2.2 series of Samba has met the same fate as [EMAIL PROTECTED] It too has been set to end-of-life status, and there will be no more security releases of it after October 1. (as it is, there our release manager only considers critical security fixes for the 2.2 series. So, to sum up, [EMAIL PROTECTED] is dead. use [EMAIL PROTECTED] Samba 2.2.x is dead. Use Samba 3.0.5 or newer. Cheers, Vance Lankhaar
