I have just upgraded to vers. 2.2.4 of Samba. I hoped that this upgrade
would solve some of all the printing problems I saw in Samba 2.2.3.a.
Unfortunately this is not the case.
Short description of the problem:
After selecting a Network printer (e.g. //fog/ps2) I want to configure
the printer and eventually upload a printer driver to the server. When
selecting properties or sharing for the printer I get a message like:
"Printer properties can not be displayes. Operation could not be
completed".
I have followed the instructions for configuring the Samba share "$print"
and the account that I am trying to use is an administrator account and it
has write privileges to the Samba share (and it worked in Samba 2.2.2).
I would be very happy if someone could help me with a solution
