Hi, I have just seen what looks like wierd behaviour with Samba and a Win2K client running cygwin.
Client opens the file and asks for a read-only file, but to truncate if it aready exists. Wierd. Then it sets some attributes, but write allowed is not one. Then it sets the end of the file, reads zeros up to the end of the file. Then it writes to the file! Then it closes the file. Later, it tries to open the file for read/write access, but this fails.
