Known bug. Use any kernel but 2.4.18 for smbfs, or apply this patch and
rebuild:
http://www.hojdpunkten.ac.se/054/samba/00-smbfs-2.4.18-codepage.patch.gz
It oopses on any character in a filename that it is unable to translate to
(or from) your local charset.
