I sorry I've already asked this question, but may mail server went down I I never recived a reply - so here goes again. I have a Suse 7.3 set up af DC (Samba 2.2.1a), I've set password sync up and it worked perfect. Now "somebody" (moste likely me :o) ) have done something to screw up my passwordsync. [2002/04/20 12:09:04, 3] smbd/chgpasswd.c:findpty(98) pty: try to open ptyze, line was /dev/ptyzd [2002/04/20 12:09:04, 3] smbd/chgpasswd.c:findpty(98) pty: try to open ptyzf, line was /dev/ptyze [2002/04/20 12:09:04, 3] smbd/chgpasswd.c:chat_with_program(322) Cannot Allocate pty for password change: ltb ... As it appears the password chat does not even start, it stop with Can't allocate PTY.
