I got everything setup... I got 35 machines joining this same domain and work perfectly, also got 40 shares that work o.k. so everything is setup...
But using WinXp Pro i can use the shares but cannot join the domain using normal account, I get Permision Denied and Unable to unmarshall or so in logs... I can join the domain with XP but i had to enable root acount. first, i delete the root account from smbpasswd and a user using smbpasswd -a root, now i can join the domain using this account, but not using any other account, for example if i try to join using another account for example 'rmoreno' also this account is no admin group @adm i get a permission denied and this log: api_samr_set_userinfo: Unable to unmarshall SAMR_Q_SET_USERINFO. [2002/05/15 14:47:43, 0] passdb/pdb_smbpasswd.c:pdb_getsampwrid(1416) unable to open passdb database. [2002/05/15 14:55:42, 0] rpc_server/srv_samr.c:api_samr_set_userinfo(670) api_samr_set_userinfo: Unable to unmarshall SAMR_Q_SET_USERINFO. [2002/05/15 14:55:42, 0] passdb/pdb_smbpasswd.c:pdb_getsampwrid(1416) unable to open passdb database. But if i use the root account I get welcome to FINANCIERA Domain and computer joins it.... So i guess it is a problem with some permission on samba files but what are they...
