[Samba] Will rpcclient ever get better?

I was wondering if anyone has heard of someone trying to improve on rpcclient, specifically regarding the printer-related commands. Also, it seems that rpcclient has trouble returning a large list of printers (enumprinters), like in the range of 200. Has anyone heard about this?
