Is 130.253.166.42 the WINS server? Can you ping it?
What happens if you add
ip=<ip# of the Fac-Staff machine>
to the list of mount options?
And since you mentioned a firewall you probably have a rule that is
blocking some traffic you need for this to work, try looking at the fw
logfiles.
