I am trying to get samba to work with win98se. I have my smb.conf configured correctly (or so I've been told by two people who have it working for them) I am having the apparently common problem of linux not accepting my password due to win98 using encrypted passwords and Linux not using them. I have encypted passwords = yes in my smb.conf. I have altered my registry to use plain text passwords and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions??
