The following is supposed to give back the ip address of the server,
but it appears that my server is not broadcasting. Help!!!
nmblookup -B xxx.xxx.xxx.255 serversname
querying serversname on xxx.xxx.xxx.255
name_query failed to find name serversname
ifconfig eth0
shows Bcast: xxx.xxx.xxx.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
inet addr: is correct
I have ipchains and iptables stopped.
