I am getting going with Linux and have a problem which I can't seem to resolve.
I have Suse V8 with Samba 2.2.3a installed on a PC (Penguin) on a small network with NT4 PC's. >From the NT4 box using Network Neighbourhood I cannot see Penguin, I have tried using the network neighbourhood >Tools>Find computer looking for penguin & it's IP 192.168.0.5 with no success. However, from the DOS window on the NT box I can ping all machines by name or IP. >From Penguin I can ping the NT4 box by name or ip. Any advice appreciated on how to resolve this.
