Hi, We have an Active Directory domain and use Sun/Solaris file servers with Samba 2.2.2. We use security = DOMAIN.
>From time to time, Windows users complain about bad response times. We have checked the traffic with a sniffer and have discovered that the delays take place when the Samba server calls the domain controller for user authentication. Samba gets the response, Invalid username or password, waits 10-15 secs, then asks again. At the end the authentication is given. Any ideas what to do?
