Yes, joining the domain is not the problem but whe I try to login with an user that I have created it doesn't work. If I have a look at the two files (smbpasswd & passwd) I can see the user. I have created the user like it is described in the samba-pdc-howto but does not work. Eventually this is the problem, I have updated from an older samba version to samba-2.2.4 and now I have added this new user and this one does not work.
