Hello list, I'm using Samba 2.2.6pre and cups 1.1.15. Client is W2k SP2, driver is Laserjet 4 from w2k disk (same behaviour reported w. FS1800 kyo driver).
Test: Trying to print multiple copies of a document w. more than one pages from word. Collate button is checked. Result: The output is *not* collated (I get e.g. twice page one, twice page two...). Doing the reference test w. w2k as spooler, everythings works as expected... ...as long as the "advanced printing features" are enabled in the printer properties dialog! AFAIK this enables some print job processing on the server, the client does only preprocessing. Does this mean, that Samba has no chance to collate the pages? Or is this just a TODO for Samba? Any hints, fixes, tricks or workarounds are appreciated.
