I am uncertain if I am sending my message to the correct place, please
direct me if not.
I am running redhat 7.3.
I have installed the rpms for the common (samba-common-2.2.3a-6.i386.rpm)
and the client for samba 2.2.3 (samaba-client-2.2.3a-6.i386.rpm). I am
trying to mount a share on an as400. It appears to work when I boot up and
type "mount -t smbfs".
Also from the as400 side it looks as though I am connected.
However, when I type "ls -l /mnt/" I get the message that my mount point is
not a directory. And I cannot smbumount it - same error message.
It also comes up in ps afx as mounted.
The only info I can find is from ibm. It tells me my file system may be
corrupt and run fsck. Any thoughts from any one??
