We are working to replace all our file and print servers with SAMBA, but that will require a large amount of storage. What we would like to do is place all the data on a SAN and fiber attached to several IA32 Linux systems that are clustered. My real question is, with all the recent talk on locking issues, how does SAMBA work in a clustered environment? Or does it? If it does, are there any special considerations that need to be made? Any traps to watch out for? Distributions that we usually use are RedHat and SuSE. I am currently working with the 2.2.5 source compiled with my settings. Thanks in advance...
