I hope this is the right place to ask my question, otherwise please
recommend me another list.
I had installed HP-UX 11i with latest pathces (Sept.02) on our HP 9000/785
(J5000) Workstation and installed the latest SAMBA release 2.2.6 with no
additional options.
We used the same smb.conf as before, when we had SAMBA 2.0.6 running under
HP-UX 10.20.
On WinNT clients, the column for the date of the last change in explorer is
void, while DOS and NC show arbitrary dates. Actually, the dates are
correctly displayed under HP-UX. There is nothing suspicious for me in the
smbd.log or nmbd.log, even for log level 5.
Can anybody give me tips how to work around this? There are some people who
want to use their data files and need to know if they are recent or old.
