It is definitely a problem when there exists a .gz in the name I ran a quick test and changed the name to samba-2.2.7.targz.asc and it worked fine. It is not only a problem on displaying in netscape but also if you try to save the file. BTW IE has the same problem. :-) The .bz2.asc files work fine
