Have you changed your default network configuration on XP (if it the same as
2K) to include SMB over NBT (Netbios over TCP/IP) instead of just SMB over
TCP/IP in order to have SMB communicate on ports 137-139 instead of 445 ?
This got rid of some 2K issues I was having with Samba.
