i'm running (well trying to run) samba3a20-4 from debian with sam backend = ldapsam_nua:ldap://localhost/
when i try to log in I get a message saying that the roaming profile has the wrong permissions. There is no profile in place for this user... it should be created from the netlogon share (which was copied to netlogon via the system control panel with "everybody" given permission to use it). heres a level 100 log [2002/12/08 01:50:29, 10] lib/util.c:dump_data(1576) [000] 01 00 00 AF 24 00 00 01 00 00 00 ....$... ... I hope I don't have to fall back to cvs from august (which seems to work fine) because the recent ldap performance fixes are really attractive to me. any ideas appreciated! brad -- Bradley W.
