Hi, I just compiled samba 3.4.0 on UBUNTU Server 8.04 using the following directives: ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/samba340 --disable-debug --disable-developer --enable-swat --enable-shared --with-logfilebase=/usr/local/samba340/var/logs --with-ldap --with-ads --with-krb5=/usr--with-automount --with-cifsmount --with-quotas --with-libsmbclient --with-acl-support --with-winbind --with-pam --with-shared-modules=idmap_rid --with-pam_smbpass The compilation is OK. When I starting nmb process I obtain the following error message: /usr/local/samba340/sbin/nmbd: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/samba340/sbin/nmbd: undefined symbol: _talloc_get_type_abort The problem is not present using previous Samba 3.3.x releases.
