They stay until I kill them with "kill -9" ... No time limit ...
So, I can "kill -9" ...

There's smbd processes in process state D. Do they stay
there for extended periods? Can you kill those with "kill -9"?
If you can't kill those with kill -9, it is likely that you
have a hardware or kernel problem. You might want to check
your system logs.
