Greets, samba-users, I am forced to accept the fact that the migration to some new software leads my customer to introduce a windows-based DC ... degrading my samba/ldap-setup to domain-members ... *sigh*
Now I am asked what windows server to prefer (in terms of how samba will interact): ms windows server 2003 or 2008 ? I googled a bit but haven't yet found a clear answer so I choose to risk a "rtfm"-reply here ... Currently I still run samba-3.0.33 there (gentoo-based), so what would you experienced users point me at? Sure, I will upgrade samba if recommended or needed.
