Yes. And the firewall lets any traffic through too.
Oh, and Gaiseric, I forgot to mention that smbclient also fails to
contact the XP shares if I use the XP machine's IP address. IOW, this
fails too:
smbclient -N -L //server-ip-address
And it has the same type of error message; it says "Called name not
present."
