Miguel sent me the following bug report which states its fixed in 3.3.5 Does this mean it needs to be compiled with an option to define HAVE_BROKEN_READLINK? You might also want to try this. Please give feedback for it if it works, we might want to add a configure check for it and put it into the normal Samba distro.
