Did the test. Same result. I even logged onto the Vista client with admin privleges and cleared the setting that requires authentication by smartcard, namely HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\scforceoption Exact same result.
