Hello,

I'm maintaining for historical reasons a couple of Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 installations. These run actually on Vmware. With the most recent version of Samba, I'm noticing that Microsoft Windows does not connect any more, and I get "authentication error".

How do I need to configure Samba in order to connect to the latest Samba server again? Unfortunately, I can't change the configuration of these old Windows installations. Hopefully, there are some options that I can write into smb.conf in order to re-enable old style Windows networking.

Thanks for your help in advance. :-)

Best Regards,
G.
