Installed on my bdc but not started at all. It would be only to start it and say the pdc to replicate to it. Is that right. And point the bdc just to have his own wins? Ex.: on pdc: socket address = 192.168.135.255 wins support = no wins server = 192.168.135.150 <-- ip smbd4wins on pdc EX: on bdc: socket address = 192.168.135.255 wins support = no wins server = 192.168.135.151 <-- ip smbd4wins on bdc ----------------------------------------------- EDV Daniel Müller Leitung EDV Tropenklinik Paul-Lechler-Krankenhaus Paul-Lechler-Str. 24 72076 Tübingen Tel.: 07071/206-463, Fax: 07071/206-499 eMail: [email protected] Internet: www.tropenklinik.de ----------------------------------------------- -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Volker Lendecke [mailto:[email protected]] Gesendet: Dienstag, 2. Well, there's the samba4wins (google for it) project that gives you a replicating wins server. Why are you not using that?
