I am also having winbind problems.
I cannot get a list of domain users, I seem to get
Only a hex number.
wbinfo - t
Secret is Good
wbinfo -n DOMAINUSERNAME
gives me the users sid
wbinfo -m
no results
wbinfo -a domain+user%password
Plaintext password authentication succeeded
wbinfo -u or -g
0xc0000022
getent passwd
lists only local users
getent group
lists only local groups.
