Which matches with 12/16/10 00:11:17 [0x0-0x1266265].com.seagate.blackarmordiscovery[65267] Domain=[BA-22B9C2] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.34] Anyway, I would say the fault is with your NAS, rather than OSX.
