I have a customer using OS/X that creates thousands of PDFs per month
using a tool called iPDF ART5.
The server is Centos 5.x with samba-3.0.33-3.29.el5_5.
Every PDF he creates also creates a hidden file with similar name.
These files get rsync'd onto my server and my tape robot attempts to
save them to tape but generates file not found errors.
._Skin Care : Cannot stat: No such file or directory
I ran strings against one of these files and the contents are below. Is
there a way I can configure Samba to prevent creating these hidden files?
