Chris,

I think I am using passdb backend = smbpasswd.
How do I change it to passdb backend = tdbsam in Solaris10?
I am unable to find the passdb command even whithin Samba.

Thanks in advance.

Are you using:
passdb backend = tdbsam
?

With:
passdb backend = smbpasswd
you will find some limitations.
