Running samba 3.5.4 on FreeBSD 5.2.1 using lpr for printing. I have printing set up and working fine for 32 bit xp clients. They connect to the printer and the driver loads automatically. I have uploaded the "HP Universal Printer Driver" for a printer using the method described at the bottom of this bug...
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6888 This goes ok. When connecting to the printer the system complains it cannot find a suitable driver however. I suspect that samba does not know how to associate this certain driver with this particular printer since of the method used to upload it.
