Running Samba 3.5.8 on Ubuntu server 11.04 32 bit. Server is HP DL-385 8 core - 16GB 1TB raid 1. My messages.tdb file is 664223744 bytes and we are having strange problems with printers. My print queues will die and nothing prints. One way to fix it is to comment out the printer from printcap, save it printcap, then reverse the process. This fixes the printer but the same problem occurs several days later. Also the number of documents listed in the windows "printer and faxes" screen shows some huge numbers that never go away even though there are no docs in the queue.
