This is a domain policy setting. I always thought the default was 14
days, but maybe it changed. You can set it the same way you set any
other policy.

It must be set to 4 days. The win7 users get the 4 day warning but
openSUSE clients get it every day they log in.
I can't get at a win box at the moment. Is there a samba-tool or PAM way
I could try?
