Thanks! That seems to be working solution - netlogon and sysvol shares
created, domain is working with disabled samba.
try this.
Manually create System Volume Author: Internal
Copy the system volume from another domain controller (or restore from backup
if none is available), then set the following registry value:
Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Parameters
Value to set: Sysvolready = 1
Then restart the netlogon service and check again for the NETLOGON and SYSVOL
shares. they should now appear.
But here's the trouble - this new win DC isn't starting SYSVOL and
NETLOGON shares, in event log it states only "eventid 13565", no other
errors. Of course, without this shares this DC isn't operational and
when i shutdown samba machine - domain stops working.
