hi, all
I tested this in CentOS 6.4, with
samba-common-3.5.10-114.el6.x86_64
samba-winbind-clients-3.5.10-114.el6.x86_64
samba-3.5.10-114.el6.x86_64
samba-swat-3.5.10-114.el6.x86_64
If foxban have a system account, invoking smbpasswd -a foxban works good.
However, if foxban2 is not a system account, smbpasswd -a foxban2 gives
me the follows:
# smbpasswd -a foxban2
New SMB password:
Retype new SMB password:
Failed to add entry for user foxban2.
Is it intended to?
thanks
Wang Li
Regards.
