I am also facing the same problem on samba 4.0.4. It was working fine on 4.0.1 and when moving to production, I decided to go with the latest version. Somehow, driver got uploaded on to the server, but clients are not able to find/install driver automatically. They get the driver installation wizard popped up and 'have disk' is required. I am running Samba 4.0.4 on AMD64 Debian Squeeze. Test system was running on i386 Debian and Samba 4.0.1.
